Criminal Ethics: Nuts and Bolts

Ethics CLE: 1.0

Objectives:

  • Will be refreshed on selected Rules of Professional Conduct, as well as some of the most seminal and/or recent cases which have interpreted them, which occur frequently in the criminal defense practice, as measured by the numbers of bar complaints filed alleging violations of these rules;
  • Will be instructed on the latest KBA informal ethics opinions that have come out in the past couple of years which pertain to criminal practice; and
  • Will have an opportunity to submit questions which bear upon the applicability of these rules and opinions on their own practices.
