Objectives: The Kentucky Case Law Review teaches participants about the changes to Kentucky case law during the previous year.  We examine several areas, with special emphasis on significant changes in the stance of the appellate courts with regard to certain issues.  This program will also touch on areas where the appellate courts have left open questions to be resolved by later litigation.

Kate Benward obtained B.A. degrees in comparative literature, French, and philosophy from the University of Washington, Seattle. She was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to study literature at the University of Montreal, and thereafter obtained an M.A. in comparative literature from New York University. John Gerhart Landon graduated from Lafayette College in Easton PA and attended the University of Kentucky Law School.  John has worked as a trial attorney with the Lexington Office and as an appellate attorney.

Staff Attorney
Molly Mattingly is a Staff Attorney with the DPA's Appeals Branch. She is a graduate of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the Vanderbilt University Divinity School in Nashville, Tennessee, and the University of Louisville's Brandeis School of Law.
