 Objectives:

  1. The session will address the criminal defense attorney’s duty to advise clients on the immigration consequences of a conviction after Padilla v. Kentucky.
  2. Training on immigration concepts and resources that will enable defense attorneys to provide non-citizen clients with effective advice on the immigration consequences of a criminal conviction.
